Pharmacology:
Pheniramine maleate is a first-generation antihistamine that blocks H1 histamine receptors, preventing histamine's effects during allergic reactions. It reduces symptoms like sneezing, itching, and swelling.
Dosage:
Adults: 5-10 ml two to three times daily, or as directed by physician
Children: Dose adjusted by age and weight, usually 2.5-5 ml two times daily

Administration:
Shake well before use
Take orally with or without food
Avoid mixing with other liquids unless prescribed
Interaction:
May enhance sedative effects of alcohol, barbiturates, and other CNS depressants
