Indications:
M SON SPRAY is used for treating superficial fungal infections including athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, and other skin fungal infections.
Pharmacology:
M SON SPRAY contains Miconazole Nitrate, an imidazole antifungal that inhibits fungal cell membrane synthesis by blocking ergosterol production, leading to fungal cell death.
Dosage:
Apply the spray to the affected skin area twice daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Clean and dry the affected area before applying the spray. Spray evenly over the infected area and surrounding skin. Allow it to dry naturally.
Interaction:
Minimal systemic absorption means few drug interactions, but consult your doctor if you use other medications concurrently.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to miconazole or any ingredient in the spray. Avoid use on mucous membranes or open wounds unless directed by a physician.
Side Effects:
Local irritation, burning sensation, redness, or itching at the application site may occur rarely.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Topical use is generally considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a physician before use.
