Indications:
TENOBIS-A 2.5/5 MG is indicated for the treatment of:

High blood pressure (hypertension)

Chronic stable angina (chest pain)

Prevention of heart attacks in patients with high blood pressure

Pharmacology:

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.

Atenolol is a beta-blocker that reduces the heart rate and the force of the heart's contractions, which helps lower blood pressure and reduce the heart's oxygen demand.
Together, these two drugs work synergistically to reduce blood pressure, prevent chest pain (angina), and protect the heart from stress-related damage.
Dosage:

Adults: Typically, one tablet (2.5/5 mg) once daily, as prescribed by the healthcare provider.

Adjustments: Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be increased, but it is important not to exceed the prescribed amount.
Administration:

Take the tablet orally with or without food.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Interaction:

Amlodipine may interact with drugs that affect blood pressure, such as diuretics, other antihypertensives, and certain calcium channel blockers.

Atenolol may interact with drugs such as other beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, and insulin, potentially causing low heart rate or blood sugar problems.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to amlodipine, atenolol, or any component of the product

Severe bradycardia (slow heart rate)

Severe liver impairment
Side Effects:

Common: Dizziness, headache, swelling of the feet or ankles, fatigue, slow heart rate

Less common: Shortness of breath, nausea, rash, indigestion

Serious: Bradycardia (very slow heart rate), severe hypotension, allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Pregnancy: The use of this medication during pregnancy is generally not recommended, especially in the first trimester. Always consult with a healthcare provider before use.

Lactation: Both Amlodipine and Atenolol pass into breast milk. It is advised to consult with a doctor before using this medication while breastfeeding.
