Indications:
SPLAC 100 ML is indicated for intravenous fluid and electrolyte replenishment, maintenance of hydration, wound irrigation, and as a diluent for compatible drugs. -
Pharmacology:
Sodium chloride solution is isotonic to body fluids, helping to restore fluid and electrolyte balance without causing significant shifts in cellular fluid. -
Dosage:
Dosage and rate of administration depend on patient condition and physician’s instructions. -
Administration:
Administer intravenously using aseptic technique. Can also be used for wound irrigation as directed. -
Interaction:
Compatible with many intravenous drugs but always consult healthcare provider before mixing. -
Contraindications:
Use cautiously in patients with hypernatremia, heart failure, or edema. Contraindicated in cases where sodium restriction is necessary. -
Side Effects:
Possible fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance if improperly used. -
