Indications:
Vitamin E deficiency

Pharmacology:
Vitamin E (Tocopherol) is a lipid-soluble antioxidant that protects polyunsaturated fatty acids in cell membranes from oxidative damage by free radicals. It helps in stabilizing cell membranes and boosting immune functions.
Dosage:
Adults: 1 capsule (400 IU) daily or as directed by the physician.
Therapeutic dose may vary depending on medical conditions.
Administration:
To be taken orally, preferably after meals for better absorption.
Interaction:
May enhance the effect of anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin).
Reduced absorption with mineral oil, cholestyramine.
Use cautiously with chemotherapy agents or high-dose iron supplements.

Bleeding disorders

Side Effects:
