Indications:
TRIALON Oral Paste 10MG is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory oral mucosal conditions such as aphthous ulcers, oral lichen planus, and stomatitis.
Pharmacology:
Triamcinolone acetonide is a potent synthetic corticosteroid that works by inhibiting inflammatory mediators and immune cells locally in the oral mucosa, reducing swelling, redness, and pain.
Dosage:
Apply a small amount of paste directly to the affected oral mucosa 2 to 3 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Use a clean finger or applicator to apply the paste to the lesions inside the mouth. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after application to allow absorption.
Interaction:
Concurrent use with other corticosteroids or immunosuppressants should be monitored by a physician.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to triamcinolone or any component of the paste. Not recommended for viral or fungal oral infections unless combined with appropriate therapy.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include local irritation, burning sensation, taste alteration, and rare oral candidiasis.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed by a healthcare provider. Safety during pregnancy and lactation is not fully established.
