Indications:

উচ্চ ট্রাইগ্লিসারাইড (>৫০০ মি.গ্রা./ডিএল) স্তর কমাতে খাদ্যাভ্যাসের সাথে সহায়ক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
পূর্ববর্তী মায়োকার্ডিয়াল ইনফার্কশন (হার্ট অ্যাটাক) হওয়া রোগীদের জন্য দ্বিতীয় প্রতিরোধমূলক চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।
মৃদু বাতজনিত সন্ধিপ্রদাহের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
মুড ডিসঅর্ডার ও ইমপালস কন্ট্রোলের ক্ষেত্রে সহায়ক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
বয়সজনিত ম্যাকুলার ডিজেনারেশন (AMD) প্রতিরোধে সহায়ক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Pharmacology:

OMG-3 1000 mg Capsule contains omega-3 acid ethyl esters, which are metabolized into eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These omega-3 fatty acids help reduce triglyceride production in the liver, inhibit triglyceride synthesis, increase fatty acid metabolism, and enhance the clearance of triglycerides by increasing lipoprotein lipase activity.

Dosage & Administration:

Hypertriglyceridemia: 4 capsules (4 gm) as a single dose, or 2 capsules (2 gm) twice daily with food.
Post-myocardial infarction: 1 capsule (1 gm) daily with food.
Joint inflammation (mild arthritis): 2.7 gm daily.
Mood disorders & impulse control: 1 capsule (1 gm) daily.
Age-related macular degeneration: 1 capsule (1 gm) daily.

Administration:

Take with food to enhance absorption and reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Do not chew or crush the capsule; swallow whole with a full glass of water.

Interaction:

Use with anticoagulants like warfarin may increase bleeding time; monitor prothrombin time regularly.
Consult healthcare provider before combining with other medications.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
Not recommended for children; consult a healthcare provider for pediatric use.

Side Effects:
