Indications:
Divastin 20 mg is indicated for hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
Pharmacology:
Atorvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, reducing cholesterol production in the liver and lowering LDL cholesterol levels.
Dosage:
Typically one tablet daily, with or without food.
Dosage may be adjusted according to patient response.
Administration:
Orally administered, swallow whole with water. Consistency in timing is recommended.
Interaction:
May interact with other lipid-lowering drugs, certain antibiotics, antifungals, and immunosuppressants. Liver function monitoring is advised.
Contraindications:

Active liver disease or unexplained liver enzyme elevation
