Indications:
Devas 200ml is indicated for relief from productive cough, bronchial congestion, and breathing difficulties associated with conditions like asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, and other respiratory infections.

Pharmacology:

Ambroxol Hydrochloride: Acts as a mucolytic agent by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways.
Guaiphenesin: An expectorant that helps expel phlegm and mucus from the lungs and throat.
Terbutaline Sulfate: A selective β2-adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes the muscles in the airways and makes breathing easier.
Together, they enhance airway clearance and reduce cough intensity.

Dosage:

Adults: 10 ml 2–3 times daily
Children (6–12 years): 5 ml 2–3 times daily
Children (2–6 years): 2.5 ml 2–3 times daily
Or as advised by the physician.

Administration:
Oral use only. Shake well before use. Take with or after meals using the measuring cup provided.

Interaction:
Caution should be taken if used with MAO inhibitors, β-blockers, or diuretics. Co-administration with CNS stimulants or alcohol may enhance side effects.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components. Not recommended in patients with cardiac arrhythmias, hyperthyroidism, or severe hypertension.

Side Effects:
Possible side effects include nausea, dizziness, palpitations, restlessness, tremors, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Rare allergic reactions such as rash or itching may occur.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Should be used during pregnancy or lactation only if clearly indicated by a physician. The safety of this combination in pregnancy is not well established.

Precautions & Warnings:
Use cautiously in patients with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, or seizure disorders. Avoid overdose and prolonged use. Keep out of reach of children.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.
