Indications:
Relitch is indicated for the treatment of dermatophytosis (ringworm), candidiasis, and other superficial fungal infections of the skin.
Pharmacology:
Clotrimazole works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thus disrupting the fungal cell membrane integrity leading to cell death.
Dosage:
Apply a thin layer of Relitch cream to the affected area twice daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Topical application on clean and dry skin over the infected area. Wash hands before and after applying the cream.
Interaction:
Minimal systemic absorption; unlikely to cause significant drug interactions when used topically.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any component of the cream.
Side Effects:
Possible local irritation, burning sensation, redness, or itching at the site of application.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Generally considered safe during pregnancy and lactation when used topically, but consult your doctor before use.
