Indications:
TRIALON 0.01% cream is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, allergic reactions, and psoriasis.
Pharmacology:
Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid that works by inhibiting inflammatory mediators and suppressing immune responses, leading to decreased swelling, redness, and itching.
Dosage:
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times daily or as prescribed by the physician.
Administration:
Clean and dry the affected area before application. Use the cream as directed, avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds.
Interaction:
Use caution with concomitant use of other topical steroids or systemic corticosteroids. Inform your doctor about all medications you are using.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to triamcinolone or any components of the formulation. Do not use on viral, bacterial, or fungal skin infections unless prescribed with appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include skin thinning, burning sensation, dryness, irritation, acneiform eruptions, and rarely systemic absorption effects.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy and lactation. Consult your doctor before use.
