Indications:
Diconten 0.5/10 is indicated for the topical treatment of musculoskeletal pain, including arthritis, sprains, strains, and soft tissue injuries.
Pharmacology:

Diclofenac: A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing prostaglandin synthesis and inflammation.

Menthol: Provides a cooling sensation that soothes pain and enhances analgesic effect.
Dosage:

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times daily.

Avoid applying on broken or irritated skin.
Administration:
Topical application. Wash hands before and after use. Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings.
Interaction:
Minimal systemic absorption reduces interaction risk, but avoid concurrent use with other topical NSAIDs or irritants.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, menthol, or any component of the formulation.

Skin infections or wounds at the application site.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include local irritation, redness, itching, rash, or allergic dermatitis.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed and prescribed. Avoid use during breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
