**Indications:**
SUPRA B PCS is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B-complex deficiencies, peripheral neuropathy, neuritis, neuralgia, fatigue, and during recovery from illness.
**Pharmacology:**
SUPRA B PCS contains essential B-complex vitamins such as B1 (Thiamine), B6 (Pyridoxine), and B12 (Cyanocobalamin). These vitamins are essential coenzymes in carbohydrate metabolism, nerve function, red blood cell production, and DNA synthesis.
**Dosage & Administration:**
1 capsule daily or as directed by a physician. To be taken after meals for better absorption.
**Interaction:**
May reduce the effectiveness of levodopa when used in high doses (Vitamin B6). Absorption of vitamin B12 may be reduced by long-term use of proton pump inhibitors or metformin.
**Contraindications:**
Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Not recommended in patients with hereditary problems of galactose intolerance.
**Side Effects:**
Generally well tolerated. Occasional side effects may include mild gastrointestinal upset, nausea, or allergic rash.
**Pregnancy & Lactation:**
Considered safe in recommended doses during pregnancy and lactation, but always to be taken under medical advice.
**Precautions & Warnings:**
Use with caution in patients with renal insufficiency or hepatic disease. Long-term use should be monitored for overdose symptoms.
