Indications:
Acne vulgaris (ব্রণ/মুখে ফুসকুড়ি)
Blackheads and whiteheads
Mild to moderate inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne
Pharmacology:
ADAPEL contains Adapalene 0.1%, a synthetic retinoid-like compound. It binds to specific retinoic acid receptors in the skin, promoting cell turnover and preventing the formation of microcomedones (clogged pores). It also has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and swelling in acne lesions.
Dosage:
Apply a thin layer once daily to the affected area
Preferably in the evening before bedtime
Use regularly for best results
Do not exceed recommended usage
Administration:
For external use only
Clean and dry the affected area before application
Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes
Wash hands after use
Interaction:
Avoid using with other topical acne treatments (e.g., benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid) unless directed by a doctor
Products causing dryness or irritation may increase side effects
Use non-comedogenic moisturizer and sunscreen
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Adapalene or any ingredient in the formulation
Eczema or severely irritated skin
Children under 12 years unless advised by a doctor
Side Effects:
Mild burning or stinging sensation
Skin dryness, redness, or peeling (especially during the first few weeks)
Photosensitivity (increased sensitivity to sunlight)
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Pregnancy: Use only if clearly needed and prescribed by a physician
Lactation: Generally safe if not applied on or near the chest area
Precautions & Warnings:
Avoid sun exposure; use sunscreen daily
Do not apply on broken, cut, or sunburnt skin
Initial worsening of acne may occur before improvement
Discontinue if severe irritation occurs
