DENVAR 50ML Suspension is indicated for the treatment of:-
Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis, tonsillitis)

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Skin and soft tissue infections

Otitis media (ear infections)

Gastrointestinal infections

Pharmacology:
DENVAR Suspension contains Cefdinir, a third-generation cephalosporin. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Its child-friendly liquid formulation ensures ease of administration for pediatric patients.
Dosage & Administration:

Dosage: 7 mg/kg body weight twice daily or 14 mg/kg once daily, as directed by the physician.

Shake well before use. Administer with the included measuring device.

Complete the full course of the medication.
Interaction:

Avoid giving with antacids or iron supplements, as they may reduce the absorption of Cefdinir.

Interaction with anticoagulants may increase bleeding risk.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Cefdinir or other cephalosporins.

Use cautiously in children with known penicillin allergy.
Side Effects:

Common: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting

Rare: Severe allergic reactions or pseudomembranous colitis
