DENVAR 30ML Suspension is indicated for the treatment of:-
Upper and lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, bronchitis)

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Skin and soft tissue infections

Otitis media (ear infections)

Pharmacology:
DENVAR Suspension contains Cefdinir, a third-generation cephalosporin. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, causing bacterial lysis and death. Its palatable formulation makes it suitable for pediatric patients.
Dosage & Administration:

Children (6 months and older): 7 mg/kg body weight twice daily, or as directed by a physician.

Shake the bottle well before each use. Administer using the provided measuring device.
Interaction:

Antacids or iron supplements may reduce the absorption of Cefdinir.

May interact with oral anticoagulants, increasing bleeding risk.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Cefdinir or other cephalosporins.

Use cautiously in children with a history of penicillin allergy.
Side Effects:

Common: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting

Rare: Severe allergic reactions or pseudomembranous colitis
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Although primarily used in pediatric cases, consult a physician if prescribed during pregnancy or lactation for a mother.
