Indications:
LYRIC CR 82.5 MG is prescribed for neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures.
Pharmacology:
Contains Pregabalin extended-release which modulates calcium channel function in the CNS, decreasing nerve excitability and pain signaling over an extended period.
Dosage & Administration:
Typically administered once daily due to extended-release formulation. Dose is adjusted according to clinical response and tolerability.
Interaction:
May interact with CNS depressants, opioids, and alcohol, increasing sedation risk.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any excipient in the formulation.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include dizziness, somnolence, dry mouth, weight gain, and peripheral edema.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and under medical supervision during pregnancy and lactation.
