VISET 50 MG TABLET is indicated for the symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis (e.g., sneezing, nasal discharge, and nasal pruritus) and chronic idiopathic urticaria, including itching and hives.
Pharmacology:
Cetirizine is a selective H1 receptor antagonist that inhibits the action of histamine, alleviating allergic symptoms. It has minimal sedative effects compared to first-generation antihistamines, making it suitable for daytime use.
Dosage & Administration:

Adults & Children (above 12 years): 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.

Children (6-12 years): 5 mg (half a tablet) twice daily.

Administer with or without food, as directed by a physician.
Interaction:

Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants to minimize potential drowsiness.

No significant drug interactions with commonly used medications.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Cetirizine or any other ingredients of the tablet.

Severe renal impairment.
Side Effects:

Common: Drowsiness, dry mouth, and mild headache.
