Indications:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Peptic ulcer disease
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Pathological hypersecretory conditions
Prevention of gastric ulcers due to NSAIDs
Pharmacology:
ANULID contains Rabeprazole Sodium, a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in stomach parietal cells, thus reducing acidity and promoting healing.
Dosage:
Typical dose for adults: 20 mg once daily; 600 mg tablet strength is unusual and must be confirmed by prescribing physician
Dose and duration depend on condition and clinical response
Follow doctor’s instructions strictly
Administration:
Oral administration, preferably before meals
Swallow tablet whole without crushing or chewing
Maintain consistent daily intake
Interaction:
Possible interactions with drugs metabolized by CYP450 enzymes
Use caution with warfarin, digoxin, and antiretrovirals
Inform doctor of all concomitant medications
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Rabeprazole or related compounds
Severe liver impairment (use caution)
