Indications:
MUPIDERM 10 MG is indicated for the treatment of primary and secondary bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected minor wounds, and folliculitis.
Pharmacology:
Mupirocin inhibits bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, which prevents protein synthesis in bacteria, leading to bacterial cell death. It is active against Gram-positive organisms including Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA).
Dosage & Administration:
Apply a small amount to the affected area 2–3 times daily for up to 10 days or as prescribed by the physician. Area may be covered with a sterile bandage if needed.
Interaction:
No significant drug interactions have been reported when used topically. Avoid mixing with other topical agents unless advised by a physician.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Mupirocin or any of the components in the formulation.
Side Effects:
May cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness at the application site. Rarely, allergic reactions may occur.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly needed and prescribed. Avoid application to the breast area if nursing.
Precautions & Warnings:
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or open deep wounds. Discontinue if severe irritation or allergic reaction occurs.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
