Indications:
LYRIC 75 MG is indicated for managing neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures.
Pharmacology:
Pregabalin binds to voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing nerve excitability and neurotransmitter release.
Dosage & Administration:
Usually prescribed as 75 mg once or twice daily; dose may be adjusted based on patient response and tolerance.
Interaction:
May interact with CNS depressants, opioids, and alcohol, increasing sedative effects.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any component of the formulation.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, weight gain, and peripheral edema.
