Indications:
MENSIL N 5 MG is indicated for the treatment and prevention of migraine headaches and associated pain symptoms.
Pharmacology:
Contains Naproxen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes.
Dosage & Administration:
Typical dose is 5 mg once or twice daily as prescribed. Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants, other NSAIDs, aspirin, and corticosteroids increasing bleeding risk.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Naproxen, active gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe heart failure.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, indigestion, dizziness, headache, and rarely gastrointestinal ulcers.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Avoid during the third trimester. Consult doctor before use in breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings:
Use cautiously in patients with history of ulcers, bleeding disorders, or kidney/liver impairment.
