Spectazole N 10GM Cream is indicated for the treatment of fungal skin infections (e.g., athlete's foot, ringworm, and jock itch) accompanied by inflammation.
Spectazole N combines Econazole Nitrate, an imidazole antifungal, with Triamcinolone Acetonide, a corticosteroid. Econazole inhibits fungal cell membrane synthesis, while Triamcinolone reduces inflammation, itching, and redness.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and surrounding skin 1-2 times daily, as directed by a physician.
Gently rub into the skin until fully absorbed.
Duration of treatment depends on the severity of the infection and response to therapy.
Minimal systemic absorption of Econazole and Triamcinolone reduces systemic interaction risks.
Avoid applying other topical medications on the same site unless prescribed.
Hypersensitivity to Econazole, Triamcinolone, or other components of the cream.
Not suitable for use in viral skin infections or conditions like rosacea.
Possible side effects include:
Mild skin irritation, dryness, or redness
Rarely, prolonged use may cause skin thinning (due to the corticosteroid component)
Contact a physician if severe or unusual symptoms occur.
Use during pregnancy only if absolutely necessary under medical supervision.
Avoid use while breastfeeding unless directed by a physician.
For external use only; avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
