RANSYS 10 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

Prevention of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems

Management of heart failure or post-myocardial infarction
Pharmacology
RANSYS contains Ramipril 10 mg, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing the workload on the heart, and lowering blood pressure.
Dosage & Administration

Hypertension: Start with 2.5 mg once daily. Dosage may be increased to 10 mg per day, depending on the patient’s response.

Heart failure: Start with 1.25 mg once daily and titrate gradually.

Can be taken with or without food.
Interaction

May interact with potassium supplements, increasing the risk of hyperkalemia.

Use with caution alongside diuretics, NSAIDs, or other antihypertensives.

Avoid alcohol, which may amplify the blood pressure-lowering effects.
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Ramipril or any other ACE inhibitors.

Patients with a history of angioedema.

Severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor kidney function and electrolyte levels regularly.

Use cautiously in patients with renal artery stenosis or a history of angioedema.

Avoid abrupt discontinuation to prevent rebound hypertension.
