CO DISYS 80/5 Tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps lower blood pressure to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.
Pharmacology
CO DISYS combines two pharmacological agents:

Valsartan (80 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes and dilates blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker (CCB) that helps in reducing vascular resistance, improving blood flow.
Dosage & Administration

Adult Dose: One tablet daily or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Administration: Can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Interaction

Drug Interactions: May interact with diuretics, ACE inhibitors, NSAIDs, potassium supplements, or lithium.

Food Interactions: Grapefruit juice can enhance the effects of Amlodipine; avoid excessive intake.
