Indications:
FORMOCORT 4.5/80 Inhaler is indicated for:

Maintenance treatment of asthma
-
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) management

Prevention of bronchospasm and airway inflammation control
Pharmacology:
FORMOCORT contains Formoterol, a long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist that relaxes airway muscles, and Budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, improving breathing function.
Dosage & Administration:

Adults and adolescents (12 years and older): 2 inhalations twice daily, or as prescribed by the physician

Shake the inhaler well before use

Inhale deeply and hold breath for 10 seconds after inhalation
Interaction:

Use caution with beta-blockers, other sympathomimetics, and CYP3A4 inhibitors

Inform your doctor of all current medications
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to formoterol, budesonide, or any inhaler components

Not for relief of acute bronchospasm
Side Effects:

Common: Throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, oral thrush

Less common: Headache, tremors, palpitations

Rare: Allergic reactions, increased heart rate
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy under medical supervision

Precautions & Warnings:

Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral fungal infections

Monitor for worsening respiratory symptoms
