Indications:
FLUMETOL 25/250 Inhaler is indicated for:

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Asthma

Pharmacology:
FLUMETOL 25/250 Inhaler contains Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate. Salmeterol is a long-acting beta-2 agonist that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways to improve breathing. Fluticasone Propionate is a corticosteroid that works by stopping the release of certain natural substances that cause inflammation in the airways.

Dosage & Administration:

Adults and adolescents (12 years and older): 2 inhalations (25 mcg Salmeterol and 250 mcg Fluticasone Propionate) twice daily.
Children (4–11 years): 2 inhalations (25 mcg Salmeterol and 50 mcg Fluticasone Propionate) twice daily.
Administration: Shake the inhaler well before use. While breathing in through the mouth, press down on the inhaler to release the medication and hold your breath for about 10 seconds. Repeat if necessary.

Interaction:

Use with caution when taking other medications that may increase the risk of side effects.
Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Salmeterol, Fluticasone Propionate, or any component of the inhaler.
Not for the relief of acute bronchospasm.

Side Effects:

Common: Headache, throat irritation, hoarseness, dry mouth, nausea, and muscle cramps.
Less common: Increased heart rate, tremors, and dizziness.
Rare: Allergic reactions, including rash, swelling, and difficulty breathing.
