Indications:
MIREZ 15 MG is indicated for treatment and prevention of allergic rhinitis, asthma, and other allergic conditions.
Pharmacology:
Contains Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks substances causing airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction.
Dosage & Administration:
Typically taken once daily, with or without food. Dose adjustments may be needed based on age and clinical response.
Interaction:
May interact with phenobarbital and rifampin, which can reduce its effectiveness.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Montelukast or any other ingredient.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, abdominal pain, cough, and dizziness.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed. Consult doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings:
Monitor for mood changes or allergic reactions. Use caution in patients with liver impairment.
