Indications:
Stener 150 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Relief of muscle spasms

Management of spasticity in conditions like multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and stroke-related muscle rigidity.
Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, Tizanidine, acts as an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It inhibits motor neuron hyperactivity in the spinal cord, reducing spasticity and muscle tension.
Dosage and Administration:

Initial Dose: 2-4 mg once or twice daily.

Maintenance Dose: Gradually titrate to 12-36 mg daily in divided doses as directed by a physician.

Can be taken with or without food.
Interaction:

Avoid with strong CYP1A2 inhibitors (e.g., ciprofloxacin) to prevent enhanced drug effects.

Alcohol and other CNS depressants may increase sedation.
Contraindications:
