Indications:
SILINOR M 50/500 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Management of neuropathic pain caused by conditions like diabetes, postherpetic neuralgia, or fibromyalgia.

Treatment of depression and associated anxiety disorders.

Adjunctive therapy for chronic pain conditions.
Pharmacology:

Nortriptyline: A tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) that inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin, improving mood and alleviating pain.

Pregabalin: A GABA analog that binds to calcium channels in the nervous system, reducing pain signaling and alleviating neuropathic pain.
The combination provides enhanced efficacy for pain relief and mood stabilization compared to monotherapy.
Dosage and Administration:

Adults: One tablet (50/500 mg) daily or as prescribed by the physician.

Can be taken with or without food.

Dosage adjustments may be required based on individual patient response.
Interaction:

Avoid concurrent use with alcohol or CNS depressants to prevent excessive sedation.
