DELPINO 5MG Tablet is indicated for the treatment of:-
Anxiety disorders

Insomnia and other sleep-related issues

Pharmacology:
DELPINO contains Alprazolam, a benzodiazepine. It enhances the effect of GABA, a neurotransmitter that reduces nerve excitability, resulting in a calming effect on the central nervous system.
Dosage & Administration:

Dosage must be individualized based on the patient’s condition.

Common dosage for adults: 0.25 to 0.5 mg three times daily, not exceeding 4 mg/day.
Interaction:

Avoid concurrent use with alcohol or CNS depressants as it may enhance sedative effects.

Can interact with antifungal agents, macrolide antibiotics, and other CNS medications.
Contraindications:

Patients with severe respiratory insufficiency or sleep apnea syndrome.

Not recommended for individuals with hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines.
Side Effects:

Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue

Rare: Memory impairment, allergic reactions
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation unless prescribed by a doctor. It may harm the fetus or pass into breast milk.
Precautions & Warnings:

Long-term use may cause dependency. Use with caution in elderly patients and individuals with liver or kidney impairment.

Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
