Solivo 500 MG Tablet is indicated for the treatment of neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and other conditions associated with nerve dysfunction.
The active ingredient in Solivo is Pregabalin, which modulates calcium influx in nerve terminals. This reduces the release of excitatory neurotransmitters, effectively managing pain and hypersensitivity.
Initial Dose: 75-150 mg twice daily.
Maintenance Dose: 300-500 mg daily, divided into two doses.
Maximum Dose: 600 mg per day, based on physician's recommendation.
Take orally with or without food.
Concurrent use with opioids, alcohol, or benzodiazepines may increase the risk of sedation.
Reduced efficacy when taken with certain antiepileptic or CNS depressant drugs.
Hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any excipient in the tablet.
Patients with severe renal impairment or allergy to the drug components.
Common side effects include:
Fatigue
Dizziness
Weight gain
Peripheral edema
Report severe effects like difficulty breathing or allergic reactions immediately.
Use during pregnancy only if no safer alternative is available.
Breastfeeding should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
Do not stop the medication abruptly to prevent withdrawal symptoms.
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular or renal conditions.
Monitor patients for mood changes or signs of depression.
