Solivo 375 MG Tablet is indicated for the treatment of neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and other chronic pain conditions associated with nerve damage.
Solivo contains Pregabalin, a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) analog. It works by binding to the alpha-2-delta subunit of calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing the release of pain signals.
Initial Dose: 75 mg twice daily, which may be increased to 150 mg twice daily based on clinical response.
Maximum Dose: 300 mg twice daily.
Administer orally with or without food.
Concomitant use with opioids, sedatives, or alcohol may enhance sedative effects.
May interact with antiepileptic drugs and CNS depressants.
Hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any component of the tablet.
Patients with severe renal impairment without dose adjustment.
Common side effects include:
Dizziness
Drowsiness
Dry mouth
Blurred vision
Severe adverse effects like swelling or respiratory issues should be reported immediately.
Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefits justify the potential risks.
Avoid breastfeeding unless absolutely necessary.
Avoid abrupt discontinuation to reduce the risk of withdrawal symptoms.
Use with caution in patients with a history of substance abuse or suicidal tendencies.
