Spectazole 10GM Cream is indicated for the topical treatment of fungal infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other dermatophytic infections.
The active ingredient in Spectazole is Econazole Nitrate, which is an imidazole antifungal agent. It inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, effectively killing the fungi.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and surrounding skin twice daily (morning and evening).
Gently rub the cream into the skin until fully absorbed.
Duration of treatment typically ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the severity and location of the infection.
Minimal systemic absorption; interactions with systemic drugs are unlikely.
Avoid using other topical medications on the same area unless advised by a physician.
