Pharmacology:
Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 and -2 enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation.

May interact with anticoagulants, antihypertensives, diuretics, lithium, and methotrexate. Concomitant use with other NSAIDs increases risk of GI bleeding.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Naproxen or NSAIDs. Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, GI bleeding, or severe renal impairment.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, heartburn, abdominal pain, dizziness, and headache. Serious side effects may include GI bleeding, ulcers, and renal dysfunction.
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Therapeutic Class:
Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs)
