Indications:
LYRIC 50 MG is prescribed for neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and as adjunct therapy for partial seizures.
Pharmacology:
Pregabalin acts by binding to voltage-gated calcium channels in the CNS, reducing neurotransmitter release and nerve excitability.
Dosage & Administration:
Typically started at 50 mg once or twice daily; dose adjusted based on patient response and tolerance.
Interaction:
May increase sedation with CNS depressants, opioids, or alcohol. Use caution when combined.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or formulation components.
Side Effects:
