Primary vaccination: Usually a single dose for adults and high-risk individuals
Revaccination: May be recommended after 5 years for immunocompromised patients or elderly (as per doctor’s advice)
Interaction:
Can be administered with other vaccines using separate syringes and injection sites
Avoid simultaneous live vaccine administration unless specifically advised
Immunosuppressive therapy may reduce vaccine effectiveness
Contraindications:

Immunocompromised individuals may have a reduced immune response
Revaccination should be carefully considered to avoid excessive immune reaction
Therapeutic Class:
Vaccines (Pneumococcal Vaccine, Polysaccharide)
