Pharmacology
The active ingredient, Bisoprolol Fumarate, is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It decreases the heart's workload and oxygen demand by slowing the heart rate and reducing myocardial contractility.
Dosage & Administration

Hypertension/Angina: Initial dose is 5 mg once daily, orally. The dosage can be increased to a maximum of 20 mg per day based on the patient's clinical response.

Chronic Heart Failure: Start with a low dose and titrate gradually under medical supervision.

Administer with or without food at the same time daily.
Interaction
DYSTOLIC 5 MG Tablet may interact with:

Calcium channel blockers (e.g., Verapamil, Diltiazem)

Antiarrhythmics (e.g., Amiodarone)

NSAIDs, which may reduce its effectiveness

Insulin and oral antidiabetics, masking symptoms of hypoglycemia
Contraindications

Known allergy to Bisoprolol.
