Indications:
Anustat 15gm is indicated for:

Hemorrhoids (piles)

Anal fissures

Perianal inflammation and irritation

Post-hemorrhoidectomy care
Pharmacology:
Anustat contains a combination of agents that may include local anesthetics, anti-inflammatory agents, astringents, and soothing substances (such as lidocaine, zinc oxide, hydrocortisone, etc., depending on formulation). These work by:

Lidocaine: Blocking nerve signals to relieve pain and discomfort

Hydrocortisone: Reducing inflammation and itching
-
Zinc oxide: Acting as an astringent and skin protectant
This synergistic action offers symptomatic relief from the pain, burning, and itching associated with anorectal conditions.
Dosage:

Apply a small amount 2 to 3 times daily or as directed by a physician

Duration of use should be as prescribed

Administration:

Clean and dry the affected area before application

Apply gently with clean fingers or applicator if provided

Wash hands thoroughly after use

Do not insert deep into rectum unless advised
