Pharmacology
NAPA Rapid contains paracetamol which works centrally to reduce pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis and acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center. Its formulation allows faster absorption and quicker onset of action compared to regular paracetamol tablets.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children over 12 years: 500 mg (1 tablet) every 4 to 6 hours as needed
Maximum: 4 grams (8 tablets) per 24 hours
Swallow whole with water
Not recommended for children under 12 years
Interaction
Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol products
Use cautiously with warfarin and other anticoagulants
Avoid alcohol while taking this medication
Contraindications
Known allergy to paracetamol
Severe liver impairment
Chronic alcoholism

Overdose may cause liver toxicity
