Indications:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Acid-related stomach disorders
Nausea and vomiting associated with gastrointestinal issues
Dyspepsia and gastritis management
Pharmacology:
Domperidone: A dopamine antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility and prevents nausea and vomiting by blocking dopamine receptors in the gut and brain.
Esomeprazole: A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in stomach lining cells.
Dosage & Administration:
Usually, one tablet daily before meals or as directed by the physician. Swallow whole without chewing. Follow the prescribed duration.
Interaction:
May interact with:
Drugs that prolong QT interval (risk of cardiac arrhythmia with Domperidone)
Other acid-reducing agents
Antifungal drugs, certain antibiotics (affecting Esomeprazole metabolism)
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Domperidone, Esomeprazole, or related compounds
Prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors (Domperidone contraindicated)
Severe liver impairment
QT prolongation or cardiac arrhythmias

Rare but serious:
Cardiac arrhythmias (especially with Domperidone)

Precautions & Warnings:
