Indications:
Remmo 20mg is indicated for hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients.
Pharmacology:
Contains atorvastatin, a statin that inhibits HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, decreasing cholesterol synthesis in the liver and increasing LDL clearance from the blood.
Dosage:

Adults: 1 tablet (20mg) once daily, with or without food. Dosage may be adjusted based on response and tolerance.

Regular lipid profile monitoring recommended.
Administration:
Take orally, preferably at the same time daily. Swallow whole with water.
Interaction:
May interact with cyclosporine, certain antibiotics, antifungals, and other lipid-lowering agents. Inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in active liver disease, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and known hypersensitivity to atorvastatin.
Side Effects:
Common: Muscle pain, headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort.
Rare: Rhabdomyolysis, liver enzyme elevation.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings:
Monitor liver function tests and muscle symptoms. Report unexplained muscle pain or weakness immediately.
