Pharmacology
MIRASOL XR contains an extended-release formulation of a calcium channel blocker (or similar antihypertensive agent) that works by relaxing the vascular smooth muscles, leading to vasodilation and lowered blood pressure.
Dosage & Administration
Recommended dose is one 50 mg tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day
Tablets should be swallowed whole, not crushed or chewed

Interaction
May interact with other antihypertensive drugs, beta-blockers, or certain heart medications
Avoid grapefruit juice during treatment
