Indications:
Treatment of fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, and candidiasis
Relief from itching, redness, and irritation caused by fungal infections
Pharmacology:
Terbex contains Terbinafine hydrochloride, an antifungal agent that inhibits ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to fungal cell death.
Dosage:
Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area once or twice daily
Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve
Administration:
Clean and dry the affected skin before application
Wash hands after applying the cream
Interaction:
Minimal systemic absorption; unlikely to interact with other medications.
Contraindications:
Allergy to terbinafine or any component of the cream
Use cautiously in patients with liver problems
