Indications:
FILMET 200MG is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other autoimmune inflammatory diseases in adults.
Pharmacology:
Filgotinib is a selective Janus kinase (JAK) 1 inhibitor that reduces inflammation by modulating cytokine signaling pathways involved in autoimmune diseases.
Dosage:
The usual dose is 200 mg once daily orally or as prescribed by the physician.
Administration:
Oral administration with or without food. Adhere strictly to prescribed dose and schedule.
Interaction:
May interact with immunosuppressants and other drugs metabolized by CYP enzymes. Inform your doctor about all medications being taken.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Filgotinib or any formulation components. Not recommended during active infections.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, headache, upper respiratory tract infections, increased liver enzymes, and rarely blood disorders.
