Indications:
BEXITROL F 25/250 is indicated for:

Management of severe persistent asthma requiring higher corticosteroid doses.

Long-term maintenance treatment of COPD with frequent exacerbations.
Pharmacology:
-
Formoterol (25 mcg): A long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (LABA) that relaxes bronchial muscles, improving airflow and relieving symptoms like wheezing and breathlessness.

Fluticasone Propionate (250 mcg): A higher-dose inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that significantly reduces airway inflammation and prevents asthma and COPD exacerbations.
Dosage and Administration:

Adults and adolescents (12 years and older): 2 puffs twice daily or as prescribed by a physician.

Shake well before use.

Rinse the mouth thoroughly after use to minimize the risk of oral thrush.
Interaction:

Avoid concurrent use with systemic corticosteroids or beta-agonists without physician supervision.

May interact with beta-blockers, diuretics, and certain antifungal or antiviral drugs.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Formoterol, Fluticasone, or other components of the inhaler.

Not suitable for treating acute asthma attacks requiring immediate bronchodilation.
