BETAPRO 2.5 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Management of Meniere's disease symptoms such as vertigo, tinnitus, and hearing loss.

Relief from vestibular vertigo caused by inner ear disorders.
-
Treatment of dizziness and imbalance related to vestibular dysfunction.
Pharmacology:
BETAPRO contains Betahistine, which acts as a histamine analog:
-
It improves microcirculation in the inner ear by increasing blood flow to the stria vascularis.

Reduces endolymphatic pressure, alleviating vertigo and tinnitus.

Acts on histamine H1 and H3 receptors to regulate vestibular function.
Dosage & Administration:

Adults: 1-2 tablets (2.5–5 mg) three times daily with meals.

Dosage may be adjusted as per the severity and patient response.
Interaction:

Use cautiously with antihistamines, as they may reduce the effectiveness of Betahistine.

Avoid concurrent use with MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline).
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Betahistine or any excipient in the formulation.

Patients with pheochromocytoma.
Side Effects:

Common: Nausea, headache, mild gastric discomfort.
