Pharmacology
Sodium Chloride 0.9% provides essential sodium (Na⁺) and chloride (Cl⁻) ions to maintain osmotic pressure, fluid distribution, and acid-base balance in the body. It is isotonic with blood plasma, making it suitable for intravenous use.
Dosage & Administration
Administered intravenously as per the patient’s clinical condition and physician’s direction.
Typical rate and volume depend on the severity of dehydration or clinical requirement.
Can also be used as a vehicle for other injectable drugs.
