Indications:
Numira 2.5mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension and angina pectoris to improve heart function and prevent complications.
Pharmacology:
Contains Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, improves blood flow, and reduces the heart’s workload.
Dosage:
Usually, 2.5mg once daily, dosage may be adjusted by the physician based on patient condition.
Administration:
Take orally with or without food, preferably at the same time daily. Swallow whole without crushing or chewing.
Interaction:
May interact with other antihypertensive drugs, grapefruit juice, and certain antibiotics. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients allergic to Amlodipine or with severe low blood pressure.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include swelling, dizziness, headache, flushing, and fatigue.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if clearly necessary and under doctor supervision.
Precautions & Warnings:
Monitor blood pressure regularly. Use with caution in patients with liver disease or heart failure. Avoid abrupt discontinuation.
