Indications:
DINOVO 375/20MG is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and to reduce the risk of NSAID-associated gastric ulcers in patients requiring chronic NSAID therapy.

Pharmacology:

Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by blocking cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing inflammation and pain.
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in the stomach lining, protecting against NSAID-induced gastric damage.

Dosage:

One tablet daily or as directed by the physician.
Dosage may vary depending on condition and treatment duration.

Administration:
Should be taken at least 30 minutes before meals. Swallow whole with water; do not chew or crush.

Interaction:

Naproxen may interact with anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and other NSAIDs.
Esomeprazole may interact with drugs like clopidogrel, ketoconazole, and diazepam.
Concomitant use may require monitoring or dose adjustment.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Naproxen, Esomeprazole, or other NSAIDs or PPIs.
History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation.
Severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal disorders.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, heartburn, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, and flatulence. Rare but serious effects include gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney dysfunction, and hypersensitivity reactions.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Not recommended during late pregnancy. Use with caution during early pregnancy or breastfeeding, only if prescribed.
